ROCKHARZ 2027 Sells Out in Record Time as the Official 2026 Festival Film Arrives

Just over two weeks after another unforgettable edition at the Devil’s Wall, ROCKHARZ has already reached another remarkable milestone.

The festival has officially announced that ROCKHARZ 2027 is completely sold out, while simultaneously releasing the official ROCKHARZ 2026 Festival Film, giving fans the opportunity to relive one of Germany’s most beloved metal festivals before looking ahead to next summer.

The announcement confirms what many attendees already suspected during this year’s festival: the ROCKHARZ community continues to grow stronger every year.

ROCKHARZ 2027 sold out faster than ever

According to the festival organizers, demand for ROCKHARZ 2027 reached record levels almost immediately after this year’s event ended.

Existing customers received early access to ticket sales, and within only 15 hours, approximately 90% of all available tickets had already been purchased.

Once general ticket sales opened, it took only 25 additional minutes for the festival to officially announce that ROCKHARZ 2027 was completely sold out.

For the organizing team, this overwhelming response represents far more than impressive ticket numbers.

It reflects the loyalty of a community that continues to return year after year, transforming ROCKHARZ into much more than a music festival.

Looking back at an unforgettable ROCKHARZ 2026

This year’s edition welcomed more than 25,000 metal fans to Ballenstedt, where artists including Alice Cooper, Helloween, Kreator, Feuerschwanz and many more delivered four unforgettable days of live music.

Beyond the performances, the organizers highlighted several achievements that helped define the 2026 experience.

The festival’s traffic and arrival concept, introduced the previous year, once again proved highly successful.

More than 700 volunteers worked behind the scenes throughout the weekend, while approximately 45 food and beverage vendors provided visitors with an extensive selection across the festival grounds.

ROCKHARZ also continued strengthening its commitment to accessibility and inclusion.

More than 500 visitors with disabilities and their companions stayed in the festival’s dedicated Inclusion Camp—an increase from 320 the previous year. Meanwhile, the ROCKHARZ Compass App, developed to assist visually impaired visitors with turn-by-turn navigation, points of interest, food locations, prices, running orders and autograph sessions, reached thousands of downloads, demonstrating that accessibility initiatives can improve the festival experience for everyone.

The organizers also used the announcement to reveal the first wave of artists for ROCKHARZ 2027, which will take place from July 7–10, 2027.

Alongside the ticket announcement, the organizers released the official ROCKHARZ 2026 Festival Film on YouTube.

The aftermovie combines live performances, interviews, behind-the-scenes moments and atmospheric footage from across the festival grounds, offering both returning visitors and newcomers an opportunity to experience the atmosphere that defines ROCKHARZ.

Optional subtitles are available in both German and English, making the film accessible to the festival’s growing international audience.
